Chris Ball

Chris Ball joined thebigword in 2001 as chief financial officer, and has worked on developing and growing the business ever since. He is responsible for the financial strategy and management of thebigword, working closely with all members of the executive team.

Before joining thebigword Chris worked in corporate finance, advising businesses on mergers and acquisitions, including fundraising and business strategy.

Chris enjoys the fast-paced environment of thebigword and loves working in a growing business in an exciting market.

Away from work Chris is a real outdoors person. He keeps busy by hiking, climbing and learning to sail, as well as being a keen game fisherman.
